Zelda is Ocarina's littermate sister. Everyone knows that freshening and getting that udder socked on correctly is key. What happens as a junior kid, happens as a junior kid. All bets are off when does freshen. Sister Ocarina was the Belle of several Junior balls in 2021. Zelda will have her chance to show up her sister when she freshens. Zelda is a very smoothly blended doe. We look forward to seeing that first udder. 

Zelda showed her stuff in 2022 in the show ring, going 1X 1st, 3X 3rd (to Katamaran). Zelda appraised 86 VVVV as  milking yearling, a nicely balanced and correct young doe. Zeldo is correct structurally, front and back. She excels in front end with her front legs properly placed directly under her withers ~ this is one area where we see many goats in the breed with front legs too far forward. Zelda is also extremely smoothly blended, not a trait that is scored, but one that we admire ~ you have to raise goats that you like to look at and Zelda scores high for us as eye candy when on the move. AT day 169 (about halfway through her lactation) she is right at 1563# of milk, easily making the cut of over 8#/day, peaking at 10.6#.

Zelda had one other notable accomplishment in 2022, giving us a daughter, Platte Valley MHK Bricksie (Zelda X Hobe Kat, granddaughter of the great +*B SG Rockin-CB KWY Hoku).

Zelda's 2022 Lap-AI did not take and she did notbreed back so she remained open in 2023.We will try live cover in 2023 to Meadowlark RCBJ Jaxson.
